...sort of. I made a realisation. I should try writing prose how I write poetry: daily, in swallow-able amounts. This is not to say that 2k a day is hard to swallow -- it is contrary to popular opinion a really DO-ABLE thing, which is why many writers subscribe to a similar process. And I used to be like those writers. However, one look at my gallery, at my blog, at my notebooks, and it's clear that I'm not anymore. on TW ( http://www.teenagewriters.com ) a large group of poets decided to do NaPoWriMo last month. The outcome was tremendous, and tremendously fun, so much so that we've decided to continue. Starting today we write one poem for every day of the year. By May 2, 2011, we should each have 365 poems. NaPoWriMo gave me a new understanding of poetry, of art, of writing, last month. I can only imagine what a year will do to my poetry, and to the poetry of my fellows. my stuff is here: http://redheadedmachine.wordpress.com
